Where 2 Party
Terms of Use
Last updated: 3 October 2026
These terms govern your use of Where 2 Party. By browsing the site or creating an account, you agree to them. Please read the ticket-resale disclaimer in section 6 carefully.
1. About these terms and the service
Where 2 Party is a house music gig guide and community marketplace ("we", "us", "our"). The service lets promoters, DJs and dancers publish events, share mixes, and offer tickets for resale to other users.
We provide a platform for user-submitted listings. We are not an event organiser, a ticket agent, a promoter, or a party to any ticket sale.
2. Who can use Where 2 Party and accounts
- You must be old enough to enter into a binding contract in your country, and at least 13 years old in the UK.
- Browsing is open to everyone. Posting an event, sharing a mix or listing a ticket requires a free account.
- You must give accurate information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- One account per person. Don't impersonate anyone else or create accounts to evade a suspension.
3. Your content and the licence you grant us
You keep ownership of the content you post — your event details, mixes, listing text and images. By posting, you confirm that you have the right to share it and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.
You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, resize and share your content for the purpose of running and promoting the service. This licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies already shared or cached by others.
Only post content you have permission to use. Don't upload other people's photos, artwork or mixes without their consent.
4. Prohibited content and conduct
You must not post or do any of the following:
- unlawful content of any kind, or content that promotes or facilitates illegal activity;
- fraudulent, counterfeit, stolen or invalid tickets, or listings you cannot honour;
- misleading listings — including fake events, invented lineups, or a price or venue that isn't real;
- harassment, threats, hate speech, discrimination or content that targets or endangers any person;
- sexual content involving minors, or any content that exploits or endangers children;
- spam, bulk or automated posting, referral or affiliate links unrelated to a genuine listing, or pyramid and get-rich-quick schemes;
- malware, phishing, or links designed to harvest credentials or payment details;
- content that infringes copyright, trade marks or other intellectual property rights;
- scraping, bulk-downloading, or attempting to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service;
- collecting other users' personal information for marketing or any purpose they haven't agreed to.
When listing tickets for resale, you must comply with the law that applies to you, including UK ticket-resale rules, and with the terms of the original ticket and venue. Where a ticket's terms prohibit resale or resale above face value, don't list it here.
5. Moderation, reporting and takedown
We review content and may remove, edit or hide any post, and may suspend or close any account, at any time and without notice, if we believe it breaks these terms or creates risk for other users. We are not obliged to publish anything submitted to us.
To report content that is illegal, infringing, fraudulent or otherwise in breach of these terms — including a copyright or trade mark complaint — use our Contact us form with a link to the content and an explanation. We aim to review reports promptly and will take down content where a complaint is well founded.
If you believe your content was removed in error, you can reply to our decision by email and we will review it.
6. Ticket resale — important disclaimer
Where 2 Party is only a guide and a marketplace. We are not a party to any ticket sale or purchase, and we are not responsible for any transaction between users.
- All resale listings are created by users. We do not own, hold, verify, authenticate or guarantee any ticket.
- We do not process payments for resale tickets, do not hold money in escrow, and do not offer refunds or buyer protection for them.
- Any sale, payment, transfer or delivery happens directly between the buyer and the seller, entirely at their own risk.
- We cannot guarantee that a ticket is genuine, valid, transferable, or that the seller will complete the sale.
- We are not liable for losses arising from a resale, including fake or invalid tickets, non-delivery, cancellation, a change of lineup, venue or date, or a refused entry at the door.
- Always use a secure payment method you can trace, and be cautious of anyone asking for untraceable payments or pushing you to move the conversation off-platform.
- Never pay above what you are comfortable losing, and check the original ticket's terms before buying or selling.
If you suspect a fraudulent listing, report it through our Contact us form immediately and to the police or Action Fraud where appropriate.
7. Featured placements and paid promotion
Promoters can optionally pay for a featured placement to highlight an event or mix. Featured placement only affects visibility — it is not an endorsement, a verification of the event, or a guarantee of sales, attendance or results. Payments for featured placements are processed by our payment provider and are non-refundable once the placement has started, except where the law requires otherwise.
8. Third-party embeds and links
The service includes embedded players and links to third-party sites such as YouTube and SoundCloud, and ticket links that take you to external sellers. We don't control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability, terms or privacy practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.
9. Intellectual property
The Where 2 Party name, logo and site design belong to us. You may not copy or reuse them without our permission. All other trade marks, artwork and content belong to their respective owners.
10. Availability, disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that listings are accurate, complete or up to date. Event details, lineups, prices and times can change — always check with the promoter or venue before travelling.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, revenue, goodwill or data, arising from your use of the service or from any dealing between users.
Where you use the service as a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected by these terms.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from content you post, from your breach of these terms, or from your dealings with another user.
12. Termination
You can stop using the service at any time and can delete your content and account as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting any consumer rights you have to bring proceedings in your own country of residence.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date above. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
15. Contact
For anything relating to these terms, including reports of prohibited content, use our Contact us form.
These terms explain how the service works in plain language. They are not a certification, approval or accreditation by any regulator or third party.
